G.A.S non è altro che l’acronimo del Grande Anello dei Sibillini del quale ne percorreremo una parte. La partenza è prevista da Isola San Biagio di Montemonaco.
Percorso di km 8 dislivello 270 metri circa.
Il sentiero non presenta nessun tipo di difficoltà particolare essendo su sentiero tracciato , il dislivello è alla portata di tutti , si cammina su terreno in parte brecciato e in alcuni tratti con pietre un po’ piu’ grandi , ma e’ solo nel tratto iniziale .
INFO ABBIGLIAMENTO.
Scarpe da trekking per possibili tratti con poca neve, abbigliamento consono al periodo invernale, cappellino , guanti, giacca a vento piccolo snack o pranzo al sacco per chi non verrà a pranzo, macchina fotografica al seguito.

ORE 8, 15 davanti Bar Caprice di Marina di Altidona oppure ore 9,15 Piazza Centrale di Montemonaco.

Il costo totale della giornata è di Euro 30 a partecipante compreso il pranzo che sarà composto da antipasti e primo e caffè.
Se si preferisce venire solo all’escursione il costo e’ di Euro 15,00 a partecipante bambini Euro 10,00.

The Big Ring of the Sibillini Mountains. Trekkin&Food
The trip start from Isola San Biagio, Montemonaco.
The distance 8km with a climb 270 meters.
The path does not present any particular difficulty, the climb will not be diffucult anywere except for the start of the walk.
At present the snow is only at the top of mountain and walking boots are sufficent.
In case of bad weather we reserve the right to cancel the trip.
We will walk a part of the Big Ring of Sibillini where we will have the opportunity to find Fawns and Eagle. We will see Monte Vettore and look down upon the fascinating towns of Amandola and Montefortino .We will see Monte Sibilla and Monte Zampa. The Pizzo della Regina has geological interest.
At the end of the trip we will have a lunch in a local restaurant to taste typical local produce and if you would like to wait those will be a beautiful sunset on the terrace of the Montemonaco.
CLOTHING
Walking boots, winter clothing, hat , gloves, camera,small snack or packed lunch if not eating in the restaurant.
MEETING PLACE
8,15 AM in front of BAR Caprice of Marina di Altidona or 9,15 AM in central Square of Montemonaco.
