Snowshoe hiking in the Monti Sibillini

If you love snow, we suggest an increasingly popular sport: the “ciaspolata”. It is a hiking experience on snowshoes, used to walk on cold and slippery surfaces safely. The start is Forca di Presta, then you will go to Pian di San Lorenzo. The path will be return and about 9 km, the difference in altitude is 200 meters, of which 100 immediately at the start.
Duration around 5 h with stops.
The route does not present particular difficulties but a minimum of physical preparation is required.

Required equipment:

small backpack,  + 1 liter of water + sandwich or lunch bag, hiking boots, a change of clothing and a change of shoes, raincoat, snow winter wears.
