The Pantani di Accumoli, a number of little glacial lakes, but the name doesn’t do them justice, at the boundaries of the Monti Sibillini National Park and the Monti della Laga National Park.
Located on a wide plateau which is 1580m high, the lakes appear suddenly after an easy walk of about an hour through woods and meadows, almost ever suggesting a spectacular sight, with hundreds of wild cows, calves and horses grazing and drinking.
From the pass of Forca Canapine we will arrive at the spectacle of the small lakes of Accumoli also called the Pantani, lakes of glacial origin on the border between the Sibillini Mountains and the Monti della Laga.
Busy day but easy hike for everyone, about 12 -13km with 300 meters of altitude, to watch one of the most interesting sites located at the border of three regions: Lazio, Marche and Umbria.
The show above the Vallone dei Pantani offers unusual views of Castelluccio, which is preparing for its 2018 bloom.
The features of the Carrier group are marked and the faults are clearly visible.
Meadows, flowers and many other emotions await us for a Sunday full of true and pure nature.
